This distinguished old tavern on the Boston-Plymouth stage line was home to among other things, a privateer captain, a wigmaker, a chairmaker, and an architect. It’s filled with rare and unique treasures that recapture Hingham’s history as a fishing village, a shipping port, an early industrial center, and a farming community. Tours run from 1-4 pm Tuesday through Saturday.
